Today's card was a card that I made yesterday morning, it took around an hour to finally get it together, and I gave it away knowing it needed some adjustments but there is just a time when you have to stop working and just let it go, and it didn't help that it was time for the Bridal Shower too.
The idea for this card was not my creation. I cased this card with my version added. The lady who created the idea has a wonderful website, it will take you hours to see it all and when you see the creations she does you will want to be her. I am sorry it is in the envelope, but I was headed out the door with it and then thought I would probably kick myself if I didn't take a picture of this card. So it was already to go when I snapped the pic.
This card is a 5x7
Card Recipe:
Paper: Base/Brown/Gina K
DSP: K & Company
I used a embossing folder on the dress and cut it out with a spellbinders die
Pearls: Stampin Up
Punch border: Martha Stewart
Stamps: Stampin Up
Oval: Stampin Up and tag/Stampin Up
Leaves: Bird Punch
the little flowers on the dress is a negative flower from a border punch
The rose is Prima
Things I will change when I do this again:
Move the heart shape down a little more. I would use a thicker white paper for the dress in order to get a deeper emboss, add a darker ribbon around the waist.
And take a picture of the inside...ugh..
