Hello, Boy what a hectic time it is here. Graduation time. My sons girlfriend gradatuated on Friday night and her family hosted a party in her honor. A couple of nights before the party she asked if I could make her a box for everyone to drop cards in....so my mind went spinning trying to think of something I could do to make it special. So I hit Wal-mart and their fabric dept. I bought some white satin and ribbon and put together this box. I didn't take this photo, I kinda took if from her facebook page, so thanks to the photograhper for that. I used the rub on letters for the front lettering on the box, I made a flower for the side and put a rub on, on the button in the middled. I used the 2011 ribbon along the side. You can't see but I used white satin ribbon on the sides and on the top around the slot. Then we attached her tassel from her real cap. Thanks for looking and I hope to be back soon........ Jodi

Red/White Graduation Card
Well I have made it back another day to show you a new card.
I am still receiving graduation invitations so I am still making cards.
This one was a little different then the others, still trying to keep it
simple so it is easier to make them in batches. I really didn't expect all
the invitations I received so I didn't know I was going to have this
explosion of cards to make.
Card Recipe:
I used for the front of this card Labels 18 from spellbinders
"Happy Greetings" from SU summer mini catalog
The hat I used on the front was from some of the stickers I had stored away
The ribbon is from Walmart
I used the embossing folder from Cuttlebug, not sure what the name is but it is perfect for these cards.
Inside:
I used labels 18
The sentiment is a stamp I had from previous years, I just like the message
The top diploma is from sizzix
the small pocket I just put together for the money to rest and put some 2011 ribbon on the bottom.
The 2011 ribbon was given to me by my cousin Pam and I think she might have purchased it from Joanns.
Thanks for looking today!!

Prom Time
It is prom time around our area. My son graduated a couple years ago, but his girlfriend is a senior so he was able to attend one more year. I just wanted to share some photos.
Graduation time is here
Hello, Hello, I want to apologize for not posting for a while. Seems like life gets in the way sometimes of the things we would like to do. I have been busy with yard work, and getting things done for spring cleaning, always good to do that when a new season comes along. Well, graduation time is here and I have been getting plenty of invites. I tried to keep my creations simple so that I could make several in good time. I tried to use the colors of the schools these kids go to, I have 3 more I haven't photographed in red/white also. Card Recipe I used the "congratulations" embossing folder on all these cards. I thought that was a simple way to add a lot of embellishment to the card. I used the "graduation" sentiment from Stampin Up. The graduation cap and gown is from Sizzix. The "Best Wishes" sentiment is also from SU.
