Graduation Cap Box

Hello, Boy what a hectic time it is here.  Graduation time. My sons girlfriend gradatuated on Friday night and her family hosted a party in her honor.  A couple of nights before the party she asked if I could make her a box for everyone to drop cards in....so my mind went spinning trying to think of something I could do to make it special.  So I hit Wal-mart and their fabric dept.  I bought some white satin and ribbon and put together this box. I didn't take this photo, I kinda took if from her facebook page, so thanks to the photograhper for that.  I used the rub on letters for the front lettering on the box, I made a flower for the side and put a rub on, on the button in the middled.  I used the 2011 ribbon along the side.  You can't see but I used white satin ribbon on the sides and on the top around the slot.  Then we attached her tassel from her real cap.
