Calendar Easel Card
I found the template to the calendars on SCS but you can go to this link and find a template there. It is in PDF form and very easy to use.
I need a couple more cards with our farm sketch on it so bare with me while I do a couple more. Then if time allows I will get back to regular Christmas Cards. The stamp with the sentiment is from Stampin Up and the paper is from an old pad of Christmas paper I had laying around. I love using Martha Stewart punches and always ribbon and pearls will find a place on my cards.
This is the front of the Easel Card
This is the calendar that I added to the card. It makes a perfect stop for the card to be displayed.I have also added some sparkle to the farm scene since I took this photo. I think it makes the sketch stand out more.

Thank You Card
I made this card for a "Thank You" card which I will add a gift card. I had seen someplace on the internet where someone had used the topnote as a purse, thought it was a great idea so I tried it. I don't know the person who came up with it or I would give them the credit. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the background on the card and the "thank you" on the front is also embossed with the cuttlebug folders.

Untraditonal Christmas
Have you had those days when you want to make cards but your brain decides it won't let you be creative? Well, I must be having one of those days. I have made 3 cards this morning and all three don't seem to suit me. So don't be surprised if these cards come back altered. I am not happy with them at all.
Anyway, this one is an easel card. The only greeting is the "Merry Christmas" that is helping the card stand. I feel like this one still needs help, I will work on that. Thanks for looking.
Also I want to thank all of you who are leaving comments for your nice words. I appreciate your comments and you following my blog. I hope I don't disappoint you, I do have bad days of creativity.

Christmas on the Farm
This is another card featuring our farm. I have several of these I would like to make for Christmas to send to friends. I tend to be following the same path on these cards, so the next one I hope I can change around the format here. I tend to repeat the things I like. :)
This is the inside of the card. All stamps used on this card are from Stampin Up.

Anniversary
My sister in-law called and wanted an anniversary card for some friends of hers celebrating their 40th Wedding anniversary. So I thought up this card. It is not the traditional card this one measures 5x7. I thought it would be a better size for a card that most people keep for a keepsake.
I used punches from Martha Stewart, Nestibilities,Pearls (of course) ribbon from Walmart, and the paper was given to me by a friend. Stampin Up can take credit for the "congratulations" stamp.
This is the inside of the Anniversary card. I used Nestibilites for the label.
Merry Christmas Trees
I put this card together in just a few minutes. I had this all put together in my mind so it came together rather quickley. I used all Stampin Up stamps and the cardstock is some I picked up while out shopping.

Top Note Christmas Easel Card
Good Monday moring. I made this card this morning and realized that I really need to stop using this paper and pearls. For some reason I really enjoy using pearls on everything, and going over board at the same time. This card I used the Top Note from Stampin Up, on the top of the card to top it off with something different. I then used the negative of the top Note to make the red border at the bottom, it made something different for that area. I used another border punch with the green border above the red. The Merry Christmas stamp I also believe is Stampin Up, the sentiment at the bottom of this card actually holds the card in the standing position. I used K & Company Christmas Paper that I purchased from Michael's.This is the bottom of the card that actually helps this card stand. I pop dotted the piece in order to help it raise up to catch the bottom of the top of the card. The sentiment I think...is Stampin Up. Hope you enjoyed this card. Today is my laundry day so if time allows I will make a another card today to share with you. I will post a new card soon.

Masculine Birthday Card
This card I made yesterday for my daughter to give to her boyfriend for his birthday. It is all Stampin Up stamps and the paper is in a pad that I found. Masculine cards are so hard to make but I was hoping this one would work well, he likes hunting so I thought this was good.
This is the inside of the card. The stamp I used here was from Gina K. I always add a tag for the person who is giving the card to sign it. That way the card will stay nice. And it always gives the person receiving it a chance to recylce it and give it to someone they want a card for......

Pink Birthday Card
Well, I did make it back to the blog to post a few cards. I have days where I am so busy it is hard to make a card, but yesterday I had a few minutes to make a couple. This card started out as a Christmas Card and ended up being a birthday card. I was putting this together when my daughter came in and asked for a Birthday card, I was using Christmas Paper but it wasn't really the traditional colors, I was using K &Company Christmas paper and realized that it would work for a Birthday Card, so I had to change gears and get in birthday mode. I think it turned out nice. I love to make the easel cards for christmas, so that it is easier for those who receive them to display them. I really think this card turned out better as a Birthday Card, I think this might be my favorite one.

Thanksgiving Treat Card
Good Monday Morning. With the time change it is hard to wake up on Monday morning and feel great, not sure why one hour makes such a difference in our lives but it does.
I found this card tutorial on Sunday and just had to try it. This is called a " Treat Box Card" the tutorial I used is Here, I just love this card. I wanted to fill this card with candy corn but I couldn't find any at the store, you would think it would be on clearance some place, but anyway. The box side I did add a piece of clear cling so that the candy would not fall out. I used a piece from an old cricut matt, if you plan to use that too you will need some tuff adhesive to make it stick, I used score tape. I used a slot punch on the top on both flaps and they connect to keep it shut.
This is the inside of the card. The center is not yet completed. I cut out the flower mediallion and I pop dotted it, but I wanted to emboss the edge for a little more embellishment but my heat embosser is not working so I will do that later. I used Stampin UP stamps for this card. Hope you like it. This will complete my Thanksgiving cards. Since we are so close now to Thanksgiving I think I have several now for that occasion.

Thankful card
OK, so this might be my last card for the day, maybe the weekend......or maybe not! who knows what I might do next. I made this card a few minutes ago and really enjoyed seeing this come together. I have been wanting to try gathering ribbon and I think it turned out ok, but with some practice I could do better. I used a Stampin UP stamp for the Thankful.....it is really a stamp that says "Thankful for...." but I took a marker and just marked the Thankful part....the rest is Stampin Up except for the Label in the center...and that stamp comes from Stamp TV...or Gina K...and I cut it with the nestabilitites Label 14 die set. Love...Love...Love this stamp set and the paper for Thanksgiving.....
This is the inside of the card. I used the Label 14 die set to cut out the labels and the sentiment is Stampin Up along with the leaves here which are stamped and cut out....so is the acorn.
Thanksgiving Gatefold
I have been so concentrated on making Christmas Cards that I seemed to have let Thanksgiving go. So I decided that I didn't want to be like most stores in the area and forget Thanksgiving for Christmas. I made this card today with Stampin Up products. Everything here was Stampin Up. I used a magnet to close the card since the gatefold card tends to stay open, which might be good if you like to display your cards.
This is the inside of the gatefold card. All Stampin Up.
Thanksgiving Top Note Boxes
Pam and I were busy yesterday working on these boxes for our Stampin Up Party.
These are going to be our party favors, we will be adding a nice little treat inside them for each one of our guests. These are so easy to make. If you would like a pattern for making these just go to
Youtube and search for "Top Note Boxes" there are several videos there to help you make these.
We really enjoyed seeing them come together. We used Stampin Up products for the boxes.
Early Morning Christmas Card
At 5 am. my mind was racing with ideas for a Christmas Card, my mind was working so hard but my body was still laying there in bed, finally enough was enough, I had to get up and put this all together. It isn't a card that required a lot of work, but needless to say, I had to use my minds ideas to complete it. The card base is Gina K Designs card stock, and I embossed it with Stampin Up embossing folder, the sentiment is a clear stamp I found in my stash. I used corsage pins for the pearl embellishment, along with extra pearls I thread on the pin to make it more dressy. This is my Early Morning Christmas Card.
This is the inside of my Early Morning Christmas Card. I used the nestibilities (book) label for the sentiment to be used. I didn't include a sentiment on this card as I thought it would be nice to wait and find the right sentiment. I used the branch punch from Martha Stewart, I bought it at Walmart and the small flower is a punch from Michael's.
Stampin Up Christmas Card
This is totally a Stampin Up card. Everything on this card came from Stampin Up. Pam and I spent the day yesterday working on this card for a Stampin Up Party. We both made this card that is why my watermark is not listed on the card. It is really a nice card. But after we got the card done we realized that we had another idea for the party. Isn't that the way it usually goes.
This is the inside of the Stampin Up Christmas Card. I took the photo at an angle so you could see the embossing on the greeting area. I really like this card.

Brown Snowflake Card
I made this card the other day, I saw the paper and then realized I needed to make a card in brown.
The card base is Gina K pure luxury paper, the label is from Stampin Up and the snowflakes are from a punch, not sure what brand. Ribbon is from Walmart..the brown paper is a pad of paper I bought a while back. I used Stampin Up glimmer mist on the background paper. It was a little different for me.

Happy Birthday
Embossing, Ink, Rich Razzleberry Paper, Ribbon, Stamps and inside is all Stampin UP.
I made this card a while back and wanted to share it here, Yes, it will probably take a box to ship it
because of the flower, but still a nice card.
This is the inside of the card. The stamp is Stampin Up which I added pearls.
Reindeer Easel Card
This is an Easel Card, I do like making them but they take a little more paper so I tend to make regular cards. Most everything here is from Stampin Up, except for the paper and ribbon, the stamps and punch are from Stampin Up and the square was just cut with my cutter. Easel cards are nice to give for Christmas since we tend to diplay our cards for a long period of time.
Snowflake Card
I was up early this morning after a night of not sleeping because my mind was thinking of card creations I could make, so this morning after breakfast I headed to the scrapbook room for some stress relief. I made this card this morning, I can't say it is anything that I was thinking while being wide awake. I used several things here. The glimmer mist I used on the red snowflake paper was a nice touch, this can be found at Stampin Up The scalloped circle is also from Stampin up along with the large snowflake. The paper is K & Company which I bought at Michaels...the ribbon I believe is also Stampin Up. As always I used Gina K pure luxury paper for the card base.
This is the inside of the card. I really think it is important that you continue your creativity inside your cards too. You get so much more out of your cards when you take the time to do a little something on the inside to make it just as special as the outside. The person receiving the card will appreciate it too. Sometimes I do not sign my cards. This gives the person you gave it to,the opportunity to send it to a friend or family member as a gift, so your gift was a gift for someone else. I just include a small loose note with a personal greeting, they can do the same and the card can be sent to several people........maybe it is being GREEN!
But it is a cool idea. You will never know you could start a Christmas Card Chain..

Farm Sketch Christmas Card
I made this card this evening using a smaller version of the farm sketch. I really like how it turned out. I used the K & Company Yuletide Christmas Paper, a border punch from Martha Stewart, can't remember the name...all of this I bought at Michael's. I used some cream ribbon along with the Martha Stewart Branch Punch to trim out the corner....and a small flower punch with which I used some pearls. I really like pearls on the corners.
This is the inside of the card. I used the Martha Stewart Branch Punch and the small flower punch....I used a silver button tied with red thread...pearls added in the corner....used the topnote from Stampin Up.

Our Christmas Card Sketch
This is a Christmas Card I made today. I used K & Company Yuletide Paper, I purchased mine at Michael's. I used Martha Stewart double looped punch also bought at Michael's. Ribbon is by Stampin Up.
I used pearls also from Stampin Up. The deer is also from Stamp Up, and I used "Merry Christmas" stamp which was from Stampin Up and embossed with gold embossing powder. I used some stickles to put a little sparkle on the paper
This is the inside of the card. This sketch was done by a daughter of a good friend of mine, who seems to have a talent for her art. This is of our farm and I thought it would be great to add to a card. I would like to add some more embellishments to it but I thought for now I would leave it this way. Gatefold Christmas Card
This is a gatefold card. I saw a sample on Stamptv and thought I would give it go with a design of my own. A gatefold card is usually hard to keep shut, so I used card magnets, which you can also buy at Stamptv, they are awesome magnets and work very well. The Large label is Nestabilities label 14 and the stamp set is also from Stamptv. The smaller tag is a punch from STampin Up and the small sentiment, I have no idea where it is from but it is cute. The large button is also from Stamp Up, and I always use Gina K pure luxury cardstock, great for cards. I also used a cuddlebug folder to emboss the white cardstock.
Birthday Card
I actually made this card for a friend and I always take photos of all the cards I make, but she didn't pick this card (I let her pick the one she wanted) so I am posting this today. It was actually made from a sketch I seen on the internet and thought I would try my hand at my touch on this.
