Good Morning,
Like I mentioned yesterday I have another card to share with you today.
This card was very simple, but very time consuming, but well worth the time I say.
I found the idea for the Christmas tree HERE, this ladys blog is very interesting and has great
ideas so I think you should check it out.
Here is my card:
Outside:
Recipe for this card:
I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock/ Stampin Up
Cherry Cobbler Ink for sentiment/Stampin Up
Embossing folder/Stampin Up
Forgive me I do not know the name of the green cardstock for the tree,
it is not Old Olive, but that would work too or any green of your choice.
Gold Ribbon/Walmart
Branches for Tree/Martha Stewart Punch
Sentiment/Papertrey
INSIDE:
I used the same green paper as the tree for the sentiment
Sentiment/Papertrey
Same ribbon as the front
Spellbinders die Labels 5
I hope everyone enjoys the card, if you make this card let me know how it goes.
Mine was pretty big but I loved it just the same. The tree would look awesome with
more decorations on it.
Well, everyone enjoy a wonderful day
Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Tree Card
|
Well, I made a card finally. Please bare with me as I try to find my motivation in the next few weeks.
I worked hours yesterday with my cousin Pam and she and I both had a little bit of a time trying to find our creative flare. But I am thinking with a little time we will get our mojo back and be back to our creative selves.
Front of Card:
This card was very easy to make. But I don't think I could have made anything that would create a challenge for me anyway.
Recipe:
Crumb Cake Paper for Base, tree base and flower, and Label (Stampin Up) or any tan cardstock
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock for layer (Stampin Up) or any red cardstock
Embossing folder for red cardstock (Stampin Up)
Tree Stamp and Happy Holiday Stamp (Papertrey)
Flower was made with punch
Red button (Stampin Up)
Decorative Corner Punch for corners of Red cardstock layer
I used paper punch to go around the tree base
Pop dotted the Happy Holiday label along with the flower.
INSIDE:
Recipe:
I used spellbinders Labels 10 for the inside and did a little edging with crumb cake ink (Stampin Up)
Sentiment was Papertrey in Crumb Cake ink
I hope you enjoy todays card. I have a card for tomorrow, so see you then.

stay with me and keep watching for my posts.
Also, today I have been working on my blog, changing backgrounds and so on, so I hope this hasn't been a problem.
Hope to see you soon.

Hi to all,
I guess I should think there will be no one see this since I haven't posted in so long. I have been so busy with summer and now fall with taking Senior Portraits, but now that season is over for me I think it is time for me to start on my card making. I plan to start with Christmas Cards since it is time for that holiday season. It will be a few days before I get cards posted, mostly because the blog has changed and I will need to learn how to use it again, and I want to get a few cards made ahead.
So stay posted to my blog and I will be back in a few days.
Thanks for coming by!!!!

Hello.....
I find it hard to be stuck in the basement when it is so nice outdoors. I tend to enjoy gardening and watching birds in the summer so it is hard for me to craft. I however will be getting back in the scrapbook room once the weather breaks.
I have been busy with photography lately, taking some senior portraits and getting a lot of editing done, which keeps me tied up also. But soon that will be ending.
Fall is just around the corner and harvest will begin for us, so that will be another hectic time so all in all, I will eventually get back to blogging.
It has been so long they have changed a lot about blogger, now I will have to get use to that now.
I will go now. I still see your cards and enjoy your work.

Graduation Cap Box
| Hello, Boy what a hectic time it is here. Graduation time. My sons girlfriend gradatuated on Friday night and her family hosted a party in her honor. A couple of nights before the party she asked if I could make her a box for everyone to drop cards in....so my mind went spinning trying to think of something I could do to make it special. So I hit Wal-mart and their fabric dept. I bought some white satin and ribbon and put together this box. I didn't take this photo, I kinda took if from her facebook page, so thanks to the photograhper for that. I used the rub on letters for the front lettering on the box, I made a flower for the side and put a rub on, on the button in the middled. I used the 2011 ribbon along the side. You can't see but I used white satin ribbon on the sides and on the top around the slot. Then we attached her tassel from her real cap. Thanks for looking and I hope to be back soon........ Jodi |

Red/White Graduation Card
Well I have made it back another day to show you a new card.
I am still receiving graduation invitations so I am still making cards.
This one was a little different then the others, still trying to keep it
simple so it is easier to make them in batches. I really didn't expect all
the invitations I received so I didn't know I was going to have this
explosion of cards to make.
Card Recipe:
I used for the front of this card Labels 18 from spellbinders
"Happy Greetings" from SU summer mini catalog
The hat I used on the front was from some of the stickers I had stored away
The ribbon is from Walmart
I used the embossing folder from Cuttlebug, not sure what the name is but it is perfect for these cards.
Inside:
I used labels 18
The sentiment is a stamp I had from previous years, I just like the message
The top diploma is from sizzix
the small pocket I just put together for the money to rest and put some 2011 ribbon on the bottom.
The 2011 ribbon was given to me by my cousin Pam and I think she might have purchased it from Joanns.
Thanks for looking today!!
